Craigavon
Craigavon (Irish: Creag Abhann) is an urban area in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. It was a planned settlement that was begun in 1965 and named after Northern Ireland's first Prime Minister — James Craig, 1st Viscount Craigavon. It was intended to be a linear city incorporating Lurgan and Portadown, but this plan largely failed and less than half of the proposed work was finished. Among locals today, "Craigavon" refers to the residential area between the two towns, which is bounded to the northwest by a railway line. Derrymacash Derrymacash or The Cash (from the Irish: Doire Mhic Cais meaning "MacCash's oak-grove") is a small village and townland in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. It is very close to the southern banks of Lough Neagh and four miles northwest of Lurgan. It had a population of 629 people in the 2001 Census. Information by Wikipedia.com
